Its amazing how a haircut changes his whole appearance.

Bad....and Good News.

For Those of you who don't know. Unfortunately, we lost the baby this past Thurs/Fri.

On the positive side... If you remember I posted a blog in May about a family in SoCal that lost their 3 children in a horrible car accident. See Link (http://bfisherfamily.blogspot.com/2007/05/sad-news.html) We keep a picture of the family hanging on our fridge to pray for them.

2 Girls and 1 Boy.

Well, amazingly....This couple is now pregnant with 3 babies!!!! 2 Girls and 1 Boy.

And....if that was not amazing enough...the night before they made this public announcement is when we found out that we most likely lost our pregnancy.. Heather was at the doctors office with the kids, and she was crying when she heard this from the doctor. Taytum, in an effort to console Heather, said... "Its ok Mom, Maybe Jesus gave our baby to the Coble family".

Heather was immediately excited to hear how God used Taytum to say the right thing at the the right time, to put things into perspective. But then to our amazement, the next morning, they announced that the Cobles were pregnant....

Its official - Fire is out in GVL

Fire is officially 100% contained in GVL. We are allowed back in tomorrow afternoon. No power yet....but it is good to be able to start the cleanup.

So close...but we survived

For reference, Our home is right below the "K" in "oaK knoll drive".

Great News!

According to latest In-Town information....we have a home. Woohoo!

Good News...

It seems someone went to GVL yesterday to assess the houses lost and from what they are saying...my stretch of my street was ok. They have not confirmed...MY home specificlly, but they had no note of damaged homes on the block I live on. Woohoo!!!

Map and Update 10am Thurs

We have gotten alot more information from someone who stayed in town. No exacts about our house...but...we are very optomistic that we could actually still have a house. The the only part that has us worried, is a scanner report that references the land directly behind our house(within 30ft). Other than that, we have no real reason to believe that we lost our home at this point.

It has been a rollercoaster of information...and we have to simply wait until we can get into town to see for ourselves.
