We are in Escrow!!

This is our new house. We close in 40 days. I feel good about this house, I think God has really blessed us with this. We had put an offer on it a few months ago, and the house fell into foreclosure prior to offer acceptance. Now here we are a few months later, after the Bank buying it back, and we ended up getting the house for $54k lower than we offered a few months ago. Everything just seemed to fall into place.

Ohh Boy...the renters just called said the Gazebo just collapsed. The Gazebo that I paid extra for to be able to handle the weight of the snow, and that I paid to have assembled by professionals.

First BIG SNOW of the Season

This is a screenshot taken from a webcam in front of the Cabin. First shot is from 10am Monday morning,after approx 10-12 hours of snow. It is scheduled to snow thru Wed. By 10am, we had 12+ inches. After I will include additional Pictures showing the progression. Look at the timestamp on the image for the time differences. For reference, the Railing on the stairs is approx 40".

Bradd's Psychic Readings!

Ya know, I don't remember this from last season...but this year, when getting requests to rent the cabin...I have been getting an overwhelming amount of strange emails. And I don't know how the word got out...but apparently, I am Psychic!!

I have literally received 15-20 emails from DIFFERENT people requesting to rent the house, that want me to guarantee that they are going to have snow, before they sign the rental agreement!

All sorts of crazy requests, even people that make me feel guilty if it doesn't, like.... " Please let us know for sure if we are going to have snow at Christmas, because I would hate to promise this to my kids and not get them to experience a true white Christmas. "

or another good one... "We really want to rent a cabin for Nov 15th, but we don't want to waste our money if it isn't going to snow...can you check and let me know?" Who the heck and I checking with???

Well, I have never understood how Psychics stay in business, but after this season...I think I might take it up as a side job!!

OC Fair..

ok, so last week we went to the OC Fair. This is a huge annual event in Southern California. Besides being a huge fair, and that itself being impressive...we have all seen pictures of Fairs. But...you have not seen pictures of a Krispy Kreme Jelly Doughnut...Chicken Sanwiches...have you? btw, the small print above each of those signs is... "Deep Fried" or "totally fried". And..I missed the shot of the battered...deep fried cheeseburgers. My heart hurts even muttering the words!

Mountain Adventures

Last Year some friends and I were up the Mountains and saw some Animal tracks that were pretty large(image included)...and looked like a cat. Well this weekend, we saw what that cat was. Staring at Heather thru the house window was a Mountain Lion.
